Sunday Morning Shawl

This shawl is a simple free pattern I found on Ravelry. It's called the Sunday Morning Shawl. What makes this design unique is that you utilize black lace weight yarn along with miscellaneous sock yarn to complete it. I love the way the black yarn ties the whole thing together and makes it seem much less like a random group of yarns. I finished mine with a picot edging instead of the ruffle on the pattern. I'm starting another one of these with brown lace yarn instead of the black and using more earth tones of my sock yarn leftovers.
