A Big Day

Today is the day I photographed my completed "forever blanket", the Moderne Baby Blanket which I finished late last night. I am so happy to see the progress bar at 100%. This is the perfect blanket for you to make if you want to be totally bored out of your mind doing endless garter stitch. You'd think that would be easy, but no, I found it is much easier to make a mistake when you are bored to death knitting...so this is the project I frogged the most including 108 rows of the next to the last section. The applied I-cord edging was also a bit tedious, but still much more exciting than the rest of the blanket. It's a present but as I see it on the couch, I wouldn't mind having one in a slightly different colorway to keep. It could be like childbirth, if I wait long enough after finishing this one, I'll want another and be willing to work on it for months.

I also finally got around to making a mosaic of my Crafting 365 efforts for days 121-150:

It's sunny and warm here so I'm going to sit on the patio and contemplate my next knitting project. Have a great day!
