Crafting Day 36, more thrift store finds

I haven't really gotten going with my crafting yet today, but I did manage to complete two more neck warmers in the same pattern as the one I posted earlier. These are in a reddish brown, green colorway. I just need to attach a button or two to complete them.

I ventured out to the White Elephant this morning for the 9:00 a.m. opening even though it was cool and windy with intermittent rain. Poor weather doesn't seem to deter people from line there, it was as long or longer than other days. I heard someone say that you have to be in line at 8:30 if you want to be one of the first in the door. Well, I'm a White Elephant fan, but I won't stand in line for 30 minutes to be first. Each day there are specials posted and today it was all women's clothes for 1/2 off so I got both of these items for $2.50. The vest has wonderful hand quilting and the sweater is in gorgeous, like new condition. I thought I might use the vest to make a couple of little bags but it looks so nice on me, I think I will have to keep it intact.

And here are a few other finds from my week of thrifting:
This bread maker was my most expensive purchase at $8 but it has already made 3 wonderful loaves of sweet oatmeal bread.

Cookie press Christmas ornaments Bulky yarn
Needlepoint which I salvaged from a really ugly pink skirt, could be an element in a future bag.

I wish I had someone to go thrifting with. It's just no fun on my own. It's way more fun to be like "hey remember this!" I got an electronic dart board brand new at one... I wonder where it is... lol the effects of moving!
