Bags in Process; new wool stash

I'm posting pictures of two bags that I've completed knitting but am not entirely sure about how to finish. I plan to felt them both, of course, but am thinking I may try some duplicate stitch (something I've never done) and/or embroidery on them. So for now, they are just sitting until I decide if I am going to pop them into the washer for felting before doing any more...or after.

In the meantime, I started working on a larger Wedgewood bag (like one I blogged about earlier). I made a rectangle for the bottom by casting on 42 stitches and knitting 40 rows of garter stitch using size 10 1/2 needles, then picked up stitches along the other three sides and began working it on my KnitPicks Options (interchangeable circulars). By the way, I love those needles, they are so smooth and I haven't had any problems with the connections with the cords. One of the cords I received was defective (it wouldn't fasten properly to the needles) but the company very graciously sent me a replacement.

We also went shopping today, and I'm pleased to say I found the green wool I needed for a custom order and also picked up some red and black wool (possible Christmas stocking project) and two gorgeous heathery colors called Evergreen Mix and Tree Bark Mix (aren't those great names) in New Zealand Wool from Patton's.
