Dream, Dream, Dream

The topic of this week's Blog carnival is "Your Dream Vacation" and thinking about this has the song, All I Have to Do is Dream, by the Everly Brothers running through my head. Click on the picture below to listen to this classic oldie. This is a 1961 recording, back hen I was just beginning to notice popular music. We had tickets to see the Everly Brothers a few years ago and they canceled their show, very disappointing..maybe some day we'll get another chance to see them.

Back to the topic of the carnival, my Dream Vacation would involve the following elements:

• warm weather and blue skies

• beautiful scenery

• my favorite companion/best friend

• no work emails or phone calls
• and a bonus element would be some great live music..could even be the Everly Brothers...off to check out where they may be performing.
  

So many lovely places to consider...it really wouldn't matter which destination as long as the key elements were there.
