The recipe I remember best from the cookbook was the one for Grownup Brownies, "not to be confused with the chocolate dogbiscuits commonly made to assuage packs of hungry children." They were moist and chewy and chocolaty. You'll find the recipe on a copy of the page from Wild in the Kitchen here.
