Low Carb week
I don't personally think that a low carb, high fat diet is good for you in the long run. However, it's been a successful way for me to shed a few pounds which I am trying to do at the moment. So these were the ingredients for breakfast. The "salsa" is tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and lime. It was extremely satisfying even though I had fleeting thoughts of a chunky piece of toasted homemade bread. I made bread yesterday to give to my neighbor who looked in on my cat while I was away. When it was baking, the aroma was nearly irresistable. I was so glad he was home when it was done because I feared I might eat half the loaf if I couldn't get rid of it quickly.
Some of my rummage and thrift finds from yesterday:
I also found this (in my own basement)...it's a handwoven jacket I made some years ago and never really wore. I think I'll try putting it on Etsy so it can find a new home, someone who won't ignore it by putting it away in the basement!

the black embroidery thingy caught my eye....nice find!!
:0)
they are silk and rayon pants that I will probably cut up and use to line something.
Looks yum, and what willpower you have, baking bread and not even having a slice!
That omelet looks so good! I miss eggs. My little one is allergic so, sadly, no eggs in our house. :(
That omelet looks delicious! Congratulations on your thrift store (and basement!) finds.
Having homemade bread and not being able to eat it sounds like torture to me!!
