Blogger Slump=Knitting Frenzy

I feel like I've been experiencing a "blogger slump" of late...no real desire to write and post. It comes at a time when I'm in a bit of a knitting frenzy. Can it be that I can only get passionate about one endeavor at a time? I have no fewer than five knitting projects in process and my big dilemma seems to be which one to work on at the moment. My knitmeter tells me I've knitted 1310 yards already this month and I may not have captured all my work with the knitmeter.

True to form, the newest project holds the most fascination for me, and at present that is my "Mr. Greenjeans sweater". Mine isn't green, in fact it's a bright coral. It's a new yarn at my LYS, called Perfection by Kraemer. This yarn is very reasonably priced, made in the USA (Pennsylvania) and boasts 225 yards. I like the feel of this yarn very much and assuming that it washes up nicely (it's 70% acrylic and 30% domestic merino and care instructions are machine was , tumble dry), it may end up one of my all time favorite worsted weight blends.

My other projects on the needles:
Little sister dress (started in August and abandoned)
Central Park hoodie #5 (for my daughter in law)
An alpaca ribbed neck warmer in Baby Alpaca Grande
Felted bag in Patton's wool.

So how do you tell how much you've knit?

I estimate my yardage based on how much yardage is in the skein/how far I've knit that day.

So inspiring. It is a busy time of year. I don't think I could keep up with a knit meter!s

It's helped me to join in on a couple challenges--Today's Flowers and SkyWatch Friday. You could always show us photos of your knitting in progress or your stash of yarn!
