Knitting to Relax
This week's blogger topics include something about my work outside Etsy OR what I do to relax. Well, my day job is certainly not what I do to relax. Knitting probably relaxes me more than anything and I liked to spend some time each day knitting. Some knitting projects that involve reading from a graph or complex patterns aren't as relaxing for me something familiar or simple.
I've made so many of my cabled neck warmers and these little bags, that I can really relax when I knit them. I'm working on a new project right now which I'll be posting in a few days.
The neck warmer is a recent custom order and the beautiful buttons came from this shop on Etsy.

Those little bags are soooo pretty. And the neck warmer too. Wish it was cold here!
No you don't, Joey
Good for you, HMO, I tried knitting... I didn't get relaxed, jsut frustrated!!
did you actually knit those little bags? Or am I just being silly - bec I don't see how you could possible knit that small! But what do I know? Not much about knitting!
Those are such gorgeous pieces!!! I used to find knitting really relaxing, when I was pregnant with my son. Now, those few times I've tried it recently, I've found that knitting involves a lot of "No, don't touch that!" so I've decided to try it again when the kids are a little older!
Those little bags are adorable!
knitting was stressful and slow for me for a while...but I've found my groove now and I really enjoy it too. It's a nice change of pace from sewing at the machine, although I love both. Knitting does have the advantage of being able to come with me on road trips though--can't do THAT with a machine!!
At first I thought the littlfe purses were hats. My dd loves those little snug knitted hats. I browsed your site and the wristlets are very cute and recycled as well!
yes, they are knitted and then felted or fulled. I forgot to mention that detail in my post.
