Felted vest-Crafting 365/ Day 140
Here's what I made tonight from this 80% wool vest given to me by a work colleague and remnants of a beige wool sweater. I love making these little wristlets and I think I've finally mastered the construction technique so it is easy but produces the desired results. I like the puzzle piece design which is similar to some Christmas stockings I made a few months ago. The wool vest didn't really felt the way a sweater would, but got a bit more dense than it was originally. That may be in part because it wasn't 100% wool. I'll be interested to experiment some more with other wool fabric to see what happens. I have a wonderful plaid thrift store blanket that may be the next subject of my efforts.

Great fabric - I really like the way you used the tan to contrast. Oh, I never tire of your fabulous creations!

I love the floral lining against the more masculine plaid of the outside!
